EM Strasbourg
Choosing Kosmos to redesign its web environment

Show site >

Who are they ?

Formed by a merger, unique in France, between a Business Grande Ecole (IECS) and an IAE (Institute of Business Administration), EM Strasbourg Business School distinguishes itself by being the only Business School in the country that is part of a multidisciplinary academic center of excellence.

The school keeps moving up in the grandes écoles rankings and shines out in research, pedagogy, international status and graduate satisfaction.

« With the sharp increase of the school’s rankings and the rapidly growing number of candidates taking the entrance exam, our former website was no longer suited for our needs. »
Théo Haberbusch Director of communication at EM Strasbourg

What did they need ?

Following the revamp of its visual identity, the school wanted to implement an ambitious digital communication strategy around its brand : «EM Strasbourg». The goal was to increase its visibility and enhance its image on the web.

To do so, a public tender was launched for the implementation of a new web environment based on a CMS (Content Management System) and for supporting the school’s brand strategy. At the end of the consultation, thanks to its view on the project and the consistency of its offer, Kosmos’ CMS K-Sup solution stood out.

From the outset of the project, three priorities were defined for the future web environment. It had to focus on student recruitment, deliver qualitative information and provide a range of online services.

The project

Teaming up with C. C. agency - editorial content - and My Favorite Signes agence - artistict direction -, Kosmos led the project.

The main goal was to deliver a website fed by users’ contributions and that could offer to the members of EM Strasbourg the possibility to easily create websites. The main site is aimed at presenting the training offer. Secondary sites are organized by profile : students, eligible students, journalist... Each intended audience has therefore access to pieces of information that are targeted and adapted to them.

« The collaboration between Kosmos and EM Strasbourg teams was intense and constructive. The implementation of the project met our expectations and the planning was held. »
Théo Haberbusch Director of communication at EM Strasbourg

From a technical perspective, the real challenge was to implement a CMS that, until then, did not exist in the school’s system and to develop value-added services: a tool for the students, ‘MY BUDGET’, that helps them calculate the tuition fees, and for the school, a CRM connector that automatically retrieves data that prospective students provide on the web portal.

To sum it up

The new showcase for EM Strasbourg seems to meet the expectations of its users.

« Since the launch, we received from the website more than 400 requests for brochures. »
Théo Haberbusch Director of communication at EM Strasbourg

Axel Poirier, project manager at Kosmos, shares this satisfaction : « we had at heart to invest ourselves fully in such a strategic project and it turned out to be one of the most beautiful showcases of our savoir-faire. »
